General

  1. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. They set out the basis upon which you will be provided with treatment at a Clinic. 

    • Stadium Clinic may update Terms & Conditions and conditions intermittently. Changes to the Terms & Conditions will only be applicable to new episode of Care or Treatment Packages which you receive. You will be asked to agree to new Terms & Conditions before they become relevant for you. Any new Terms & Conditions and conditions will not apply to a Treatment which has already begun. The words in bold have specific meanings and are described towards the end of the document.

    • Please read the Terms & Conditions in relation to our charges carefully. 

    • We are always happy to provide up to date transparent costs.

    • You may check Stadium Clinic Rates at www.StadiumClinic.com. 

    • The sections in these Terms & Conditions about Health Care Practitioners is particularly important. Health Care Practitioners involved in your Care are independent practitioners and are not employees of Stadium Clinic. The Contract between you and Stadium Clinic for your Care is different from, and separate, to the contract that you have with your Health Care Practitioner (which may or may not be written). If you are unsure about how your Contract works, please ask. 

 

Health Care Practitioners

 

  1. While at the Stadium Clinic, your care will be under of the Care of the Health Care Practitioner to whom you were referred.  

    • These Health care practitioners may also involve other Health Care Practitioners in your Care, if appropriate. Stadium Clinic staff, including nurses, will provide your Care under your Health Care Practitioner’s instructions. 

    • The Health Care Practitioners involved in your Care are independent practitioners and are not employees of Stadium Clinic. Stadium Clinic Ltd. will not be liable for any act or omission of a Health Care Practitioner (or the company or partnership that employs or engages the Health Care Practitioners). The Healthcare Practitioner will be responsible for the care that they provide you. 

    • Health Care Practitioner’s fees relating to your Care will be charged to you by your Health Care Practitioner. Fees will usually be invoiced and collected by your Health Care Practitioners directly. For some Treatment Packages, Stadium Clinic may specifically agree to act as collection agent on behalf of the Health Care practitioners. In such circumstances we might issue invoices on the Health Care Practitioner’s behalf, Stadium Clinic might collect fees due to the Health Care practitioners and then pass these on to the. This is a purely administrative function for the convenience of all parties. Your Treatment Letter should make this clear but if you are unsure please ask the Healthcare Practitioner. 

 

Appointments

  1. Cancellations: The Stadium Clinic Ltd. reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if you cancel any appointment with Stadium Clinic within 7 days of the appointment. Ant cancellation fee might be based upon any Care that you have received up to the point. Fees may also be based upon reasonable costs that the Clinic has incurred. Your Treatment Letter might set out other specific cancellation fee that applies to the Treatment Package or Care. 

  2. Credit/Debit Card: You are responsible for settling the cost of your. We may ask you for your credit or debit card details when you come into the Clinic or when you make your appointment. We will keep these details for up to six months after the last date of your Care or other appointment with your Health Care practitioners. You agree that should you not pay before you leave the Clinic, we may debit the outstanding balance and any cancellation fees from your card.

 

Patients paying  with medical insurance

This section will apply if you are covered by private medical insurance

  1. You are responsible for paying for your Care if the costs are not met by the insurer.

    • You are responsible for the payment of your Care. For those with private medical insurance: 

    • where possible we will process the insurance claim for your Care with your insurer. You must provide us and your insurer all the information that both we and your insurer need to do this.

    • If the information is incomplete or inaccurate, we might not be able to process your claim and you would need to pay for your Care.

    • You would need to pay for your care if your insurer fails to settle our invoices within 30 days. (we may invoice you direct or debit the relevant balance from your creditor debit cards)

    • Some insurers guidelines may not match the professional medical opinion of the health Healthcare Practitioners, nurses and other medical professionals involved in your Care. In certain cases this can mean that your insurer decides not pay for certain parts of the Care you receive. You will be required to pay for that part of your Care. You should be aware that treatment for complications may in many cases be covered by insurance, if not then you will be liable for these costs. Sundry items may not be covered by the insurer and if so you will be liable for these costs.  

Patients that are paying for themselves (self-pay patients)

This section applies if you are paying for your own Care

  1. You shall agree to settle all outstanding invoices within 30 days (we may invoice you direct or debit the relevant balance from your creditor debit cards). Where possible we will aim to warn you of any attempt to take payments.

  1. Consultation fees: Consultation fees are settled should be settled with the Healthcare Practitioner directly. Their prices and terms may vary from these.

  2. Diagnostic service. Unless otherwise specified you will have to pay for any medical investigations that your health care practitioner recommends. Typically these are medical imaging such as x-rays and MRI  or blood tests however other investigations also fall under this category. These medical investigation might be performed by Stadium Clinic Ltd or by other organisations. If they are performed by organisations other than Stadium Clinic Ltd the Stadium clinic Ltd Shall have nor responsibility for that investigation. 

 

  1. Treatment services: Unless otherwise specified you will have to pay for any treatments that your health care practitioner recommends. Typically these are medications, therapies or surgery.  These treatments might be performed by Stadium Clinic Ltd or by other organisations. If they are performed by organisations other than Stadium Clinic Ltd the Stadium clinic Ltd Shall have nor responsibility for that treatment 

 

 

Overseas Patients 

  1. This section applies to those who are not ordinarily resident in the UK 

    1. If you are not an ordinarily resident in the UK you will be liable to pay for NHS treatment whilst you are in the UK. Should this be related to your Care at Stadium Clinic (for example if you require as an emergency treatments that the  Stadium Clinic does not agree to provide) or if it is not. 

    2. By signing the Registration Form and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions you confirm that you meet all relevant immigration criteria and have leave to enter the UK. You must confirm that you have made adequate arrangements to pay for your Care. Stadium Clinic may be required to contact the Home Office or UK Border Agency (as relevant) to clarify any information regarding immigration status.

Other Terms & Conditions and Conditions

All Patients This section applies to all Patients 

  1. Your Contract with Stadium Clinic: Signing the Registration Form means that you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If there is any difference between these Terms & Conditions and the Treatment Letter or the Registration Form, the Terms & Conditions shall take precedence. If there is any difference between the Contract and any advertising or marketing material, the Contract shall take precedence. Stadium Clinic will update the Terms & Conditions intermittently. Changes shall only apply to new provisions of Care or new Treatment Packages that you receive. You will be asked to agree to any new Terms & Conditions before they become applicable. 

  2. Stadium Clinic Standard Rates: Unless the Terms & Conditions or your Treatment Letter state otherwise, the Stadium Clinic Standard Rates will apply. You can check how much something costs by asking a Health Care Practitioner or contacting the secretaries or checking www.StadiumClinic.co.uk.

  3. Your contact details: You must keep us updated regarding any changes in your contact details.
    Personal property: Clinics can be busy  environments and we can not control the activities of all member s of the public.. While we will take care to permit the safety of your belongings, Stadium Clinic will not accept any responsibility for the theft, damage or loss of your property. 

  4. Children: When a person signs a Registration Form (as parent/guardian on behalf of a child under the age of 18) they agree that they will be bound by the Terms & Conditions. Even if that child breaches or is not bound by parts of the Terms & Conditions. The terms in these Terms & Conditions to “you” and “your” will include, as well as the child, the parent or guardian of the child. This applies in so far as the terms relating to any obligation to pay for any Care provided by Stadium Clinic to that child. 

  5. Changes in Applicable Law: You recognise and accept that ‘Applicable Law’ may change and prevent Stadium Clinic from providing certain Care. If Stadium Clinic becomes aware that such a change has occurred and the change has an effect on your Care, Stadium Clinic will contact you to inform you of this.

  6. Assignment: Stadium Clinic can transfer and assign your Contract to any person or organisation who acquires all or substantially all of the assets of Stadium Clinic.  Stadium Clinic can transfer and assign your Contract to any who is part of the Stadium Clinic Group. 

  7. Third Party Rights: There are none. Only you or Stadium Clinic have any rights under or in connection with these Terms & Conditions. 

  8. Law and the Courts: The Terms & Conditions are governed by and shall be construed or interpreted in accordance with English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction. No court outside of the UK shall have any jurisdiction.

 

 

Definitions

“Applicable Law” relates to any and all laws, regulations, guidelines and professional obligations. These are those that are applicable to the provision of Care or the performance of services for you. These  include the requirements as regards treatment, procurement, research and storage of reproductive material.

“Care” means care all element of the care pathway. Specifically this means treatment, diagnosis, services (including Sundry Items) and goods provided by Stadium Clinic.

 “Health Care Practitioners” refers to all, surgeons, physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists,, anaesthetists and self- employed GPs involved in your Care.

 “Contract” refers these Terms & Conditions, along with the Registration Form and, if applicable, your Treatment Letter.

 “Fixed Price” refers how much you will pay for your Treatment Package, this is set out in your Treatment Letter.

 “Clinic” means a facility operated by Stadium Clinic ltd..

 "Private Patients" refers to all patients that are not NHS patients. These patients include patients who are covered by medical insurance as well as those  patients who are paying for their own treatment. These may be by way of a Treatment Package or otherwise. 

“Stadium Clinic”,“we”or“us” refers to Stadium Clinic Limited where the Clinic in which you receive your Care is operated by Stadium Clinic Limited.

“Sundry Items” may include orthotics, braces, crutches or in some cases disposable medical items.
